Our Private Client Department provides specialised advice to individuals, families, personal representatives, trustees and entrepreneurs on Wills, Tax Planning, Creation & Taxation of Trusts, Probate & Estate Administration.

We can also help in connection with the equity release schemes (schemes to free capital locked up in residential property for those we are retired but do not want to move house).

In specific instances we work in conjunction with approved Independent financial advisors who offer tailored solutions to BSG clients with annual reviews to ensure your finances are regularly updated.

As the Civil Partnership Act 2004 is now in force same sex couples who have entered into a civil partnership now enjoy similar rights to those of married couples. This has significant implications for the Wills and Inheritance Tax Planning and we can assist.

We also advise clients on the best means to protect their assets within the tax system and in the case those whose assets might otherwise be claimed in regard to future care costs.

We also offer fixed fees for the provision of certain Wills. Home visits can be arranged if required.
